elmo wins Innovation Grant from UK Government

We are delighted to announce that elmo has won funding from the UK Department for Transport. The funding comes as part of the UK government’s programme to decarbonise the transport sector and meet climate reduction targets while boosting the UK economy.

elmo is one of 30 innovative companies from around the UK who have been invited onto the 2019 Transport-Technology Research and Innovation Grants (T-TRIG) programme supported by Connected Places Catapult.

The programme kicked off on 31st March with a video conference with speakers including transport minister, Rachel Maclean, Chief Scientific Officer for the DfT, Phil Blythe, and CEO of CPC, Nicola Yates OBE.

The team at elmo are looking forward to working with the Department for Transport over the course of the programme and to play our part in this great mission to clean up the UK transport sector.

This recognition and support is also a real positivity boost for us during this tricky period with COVID-19.
