Mokka-e Range and Charging Info

While Vauxhall says the Mokka-e is capable of a 209-mile range, its real-world range is much closer to 160 miles – not quite as high but still decent considering it’s a more affordable EV. That means the Mokka-e might not be quite right for you if you spend a lot of time commuting up and down the motorway, as you may find the semi-frequent need to charge frustrating, especially if you don’t have a charge point installed at home.

That’s why the Mokka-e makes for a far better family or city car, as average use should mean you’ll only have to charge it every few days. Because of the moderate range, you’ll find charging more convenient if you have a charge point installed at home. That being said, when the time does come to charge your Mokka-e, it offers Type 2 and CCS charging, which means rapid charging is available. In just 30 minutes you can charge the battery from 10% to 80%. That’s less than the amount of time it’ll take to do the weekly shop.

Mokka-e Interior

The interior of the Mokka-e offers plenty of the high-tech functionality you expect with an EV, despite the affordability. It’s fairly no-nonsense, with all of the must-have features but fewer of the nice-to-haves (although it does have a heated steering wheel, which is actually pretty nice-to-have).

The SUV design means there’s plenty of room for you, your family, the dog AND a couple of bags in the boot. It’ll also keep everyone entertained with an infotainment centre with a 10-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also a range of safety features including collision alerts, sensors, cruise control and lane departure warning, helping you to get to where you’re going safely.

Mokka-e Exterior

With a striking SUV design, the Mokka-e certainly stands out, in part thanks to its bold range of colours, with black roof and black-painted rear spoiler. It also has plenty of external features including advanced forward lighting, automatic headlamp levelling system, automatic high beam assist, electrically folding food mirrors and rain-sensitive windscreen wipers.

Mokka-e Key Features

The Vauxhall Mokka-e may be a more affordable electric SUV, but it still has plenty of great features that mean you’re driving a tech-laden and stylish electric car.

For a little extra luxury, the front seats offer heating and massage (depending on your trim) – great for warming up those muscles at the end of a long day.

To help make the driving experience simple and more enjoyable, there are front and rear parking sensors and a panoramic rearview camera, making getting around the city a doddle.

And with a plethora of safety features, including side blind spot alerts, automatic emergency city braking and lane departure warning with lane keep assist, you can drive with confidence.

Lease vs Subscription

The Vauxhall Mokka-e is one of the most affordable electric SUVs available, and both a lease and a subscription are great options for getting behind the wheel of your own. However, there are a few differences that mean one might suit you a little better than the other.
